S4S UTSG 2022-2023 EXECUTIVE ELECTIONS
Students for Shelters UTSG is excited to host Executive Elections for the 2022-2023 academic year! Joining Executive Council is a great way to increase your involvement in the S4S UTSG community and meet new people who share similar passions for social justice and advocacy work in our local communities. Plus, being an Executive member looks great on your résumé/CCR.

S4S UTSG END OF YEAR SOCIAL AND RAFFLE!

ILLUMINATE PANEL CANCELED
Unfortunately, we have cancelled our Illuminate Virtual Panel for the remainder of the 2021-2022 year. While we are sad that this panel will not happen, we have other exciting events coming up and look forward to sharing these plans with you all soon!

ILLUMINATE THE MAGAZINE 2022
We are excited to announce that the S4S UTSG Illuminate Magazine is coming back for its second edition!
Submissions from the UofT community are now OPEN! The deadline to submit is February 10th @ 11:59 PM, so there is plenty of time to prepare your pieces. We are accepting academic, creative, and informal pieces for publication. If you have any questions about submission, please reach out to us!
Also, we are now opening recruitment to join the Illuminate Magazine editing and graphic design team. Executive and Community/General members are encouraged to sign-up. You do not need previous magazine experience. This is a great way to work with other members of S4S UTSG! Sign-up to join the Illuminate Magazine team will close on January 21st @ 11:59 PM. DE-STRESS WITH S4S: MEDITATION MINDFULNESS
Take a study break and join S4S for a de-stressor virtual event. There will be conversation, mindfulness mediation, and a draw for a Starbucks gift card.

THE RETURN OF ILLUMINATE 2021
Join us on October 21st at 6:30 PM EST virtually for the return of our Illuminate panel series.
With the Illuminate series, speakers from all throughout Ontario are invited to speak to students on poverty, homelessness, education and literacy, COVID-19, and mental health.
For our first illuminate virtual panel of the year, we will have Toronto North Support Services and Distress Centres of Greater Toronto joining us!
TRIVIA NIGHT
Tuesday, September 28th at 6:00 PM EST.
We are excited to announce S4S UTSG has partnered with One For the World, UofT Chapter! We are hosting Trivia Night in collaboration with One For The World (OFTW) UofT on Tuesday, September 28th at 6:00 PM EST. The trivia event will cover topics relating to S4S, OFTW, and UofT/Toronto. There will be prizes awarded to the top players. Come join us for a night of fun and the chance to meet other UofT students!
